Glorieta is a Christian Conference Center tucked in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains at the southern most part of the Rocky Mountain chain. In order to transform this dated retreat center into a major modern Christian conference center, Lifeway undertook a master plan that involves phased remodeling and expanded facilities, phased over a ten year period. The first phase involves major remodeling of three youth dorms and the main conference and auditorium building, plus upgrades to existing guest buildings. Future phases will involve several new conference hotel buildings, an indoor recreation facility, a new chapel, and renovated dining facilities. Total project costs over the ten year plan are about $28 million.
